Hey Grad students! We’d love to connect with you!
Grad Cru is for all Master, Ph.D. and Professional School graduate students and Post-Docs and Visiting Scholars - both American and International. We help grad students explore what it means to know God and to experience the life that Jesus Christ offers. You can connect with the Grad Cru community wherever you find yourself on your spiritual journey — whether you’re skeptical, exploring, looking to become established in your faith, or wanting to mature and become equipped for effective ministry.
We want to think deeply about the integral relationship of faith and our academics. We see to help grad students:
• ENCOUNTER Jesus - explore God and the Bible, and investigate the person and message of Jesus.
• ESTABLISH Christian grad students in their faith.
• EQUIP Christian grad students with effective ministry philosophy and skills.
• ENTRUST Christian grads to lead for Christ, make disciples, and have an eternal impact on campus around the world.
Some of the stuff we do:
We have Life Groups for Grad Students - small group Bible studies that meet on campus.
We have discussions to help students explore God, Christianity, and the Bible.
We offer events and programs for International students to help them get to know Boston and the U.S. through our partnership with Bridges International.
We have training times to help students learn more how to communicate their faith and lead a Life Group.
We have opportunities for Grad students to help mentor and disciple undergrad students in the MIT Cru undergrad ministry.
We offer a Grad Fellows program in the Summer.
We have mission trips to go to places like South Africa, the Middle East and various locations around the world.
We have retreats with the larger Boston Cru ministry.
We host a Reason for God apologetics series during the January IAP (with free dinners!)
We help grad students get plugged into good local churches.
