What to expect:
Winter Conference is a gathering of hundreds of university students from New England and New York. It’s a weekend to turn our hearts and minds towards Christ, be shaped and challenged by His Word. A weekend to gain vision and perspective to the mission God calls us into, both personally and together as a community on campus. You’ll hear from great speakers who will teach from God’s Word. Amazing times of worship together. Equipping. Time to grow closer together as a community. This is a great weekend to attend, especially if you want to have an impact for Christ on campus. If you are newer to Christianity, or exploring faith, this is also a great weekend for you as well.
Speakers and Schedule:
Openning session starts at 8pm on Friday, last session ends at noon on Sunday.
You can see more about speakers and schedule at www.cruwinterconference.com. Goto the Northeast section.
Departure and Return:
Departure:
We will leave Friday in time to be there for the first session, which starts at 8pm.
Approximate leaving time: 3:00 pm
(contact Chris.Swanson@cru.org or another Cru staff, if you absolutely can’t leave by that time)
Return: We will leave New Haven after lunch on Sunday, return to campus by mid-late afternoon.
Housing:
You can room with your friends or other people from your campus. Each hotel room has two beds and will house up to four people. Rooms are assigned during registration. To ensure your roommate preferences, go through registration with your desired roommates; and/or make sure that all of your desired roomates are paid in full prior to the conference (this allows each of you go through registration on your own rather than as a group) . If you do not have a preference of roommates there will be a location on site where you will be able to group with others to room with.
