This Semester Cru often meets in the Burton Conner Porter Room. Here are some instructions on how to get into the dorm and how to find the Porter Room.

The best entrance to access is on the Amherst St. Side of Burton Conner - See this marker on Google maps.

There is also and entrance on the other side of the building at 410 Memorial Dr, Cambridge, MA, but isn’t used as much.

When you come in the building you will need to check in at the front desk. To get in the dorm you just need to ring the call button/bell (it will be labeled). If you are on the guest list, just show your ID to the desk worker and they will let you in. Tell them you are coming for a Cru event in the Porter Room. If you are not on the guest list you will need to be checked in by a Burton Conner resident. Someone will be at the front desk to help you, most likely a student named Paul. If you can’t get in for some reason, contact Paul at 817-715-5323 and he can get you in.

To find the Porter Room head down the hallway from the front desk until you see a staircase and go up one floor. There is also an elevator if needed. Turn left and you will see the Porter Room entrance. Look for a Cru banner.

Parking: If you are coming from another campus via car, you can look for parking along Memorial Drive or Vassar Street. You will find meter parking (free after 8pm). You might also be able to find a spot on Amherst St. There is also a visitor parking lot here (pay $11)

Public Transportation: Redline to Kendal, 1 Bus drops off on campus.
