Equip - Leadership Training

  • W11 - Basement Meeting Room - MIT Religious Activities Center (map)

12pm - Engaging in cross-cultural conversations about Jesus and the Gospel.

We will specifically talk about sharing the Gospel with our Muslim friends and neighbors, as well as others who follow a different religion.  This will be helpful as we get ready for our joint Thanksgiving meal with the Muslim Student Association.

1pm - How to talk about Jesus without Freaking out - Evangelism 101

We will talk about how to start spiritual conversations, overcoming fears in sharing the Gospel, biblical perspective to follow, how to be good listeners and good question askers and how to clearly communicate various points of the Gospel message like sin, the cross, forgiveness, redemption, etc.

2:15 pm - How to use Perspectives

Perspectives is a really cool and effective tool to use on campus to talk to students about their worldview and open up spiritual dialogue.  It provides a great way for Christians to listen to others and a great way for people to think about their worldview. Thousands of college students have been using this tool all over the country to engage others in spiritual conversations.  And people actually enjoy talking to you when using it!   Come learn about this tool and how to use it.  Each participant will get to keep their copy of the perspectives tool for their personal use.
